Statement on the accessibility of the service

The Office of Electronic Communications undertakes to ensure access to the website pursuant to the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies.

The statement on accessibility applies to the internet portal.

Statement drawn up on 30 October 2019. The statement was drawn up based on the self-assessment carried out by UKE and the site audit carried out by the Widzialni Foundation.

All the aforementioned errors are addressed as they arise, however, some of them may still occur on the website. Once the post-audit recommendations are implemented, the site will undergo another audit in order to confirm its compliance with the Act on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies.

The same procedure can be used to submit applications requesting access to unavailable information and to lodge complaints should accessibility not be ensured.

Everyone has the right to request digital accessibility of a website, mobile application or any of their components. Alternative forms of requesting access to information can also be employed, e.g. reading out a document that cannot be accessed digitally, describing the contents of a film that does not feature audio description etc. The request should include information on the person submitting it, indication of the relevant website or mobile application and the preferred mode of contact. If the person submitting the request communicates their need to receive information in an alternative form, they should also specify that form.

The Office of Electronic Communications should comply with the request promptly and not later than within 7 days. If meeting this deadline is not possible, UKE will without delay communicate the date on which it will be able to comply with the request, whereby this date cannot be more than 2 months away. If accessibility cannot be ensured, UKE may propose an alternative way of accessing the information.

In the case of refusal to comply with the request for ensuring accessibility or providing an alternative form of access to information, it is possible to lodge a complaint against such an action.

After exhausting all other measures, the complaint can also be sent to the Polish Ombudsman.
