  • Summary of campaigns for collecting data in the Information Point on Telecommunications in the period from January to April 2020

    As part of the data collection campaign referred to in Article 29b(1) of the Act of 7 May 2010 on supporting the development of telecommunications services and networks (Journal of Laws [Dz. U.] of 2019, item 2410, as amended), hereinafter referred to as ‘MEGA-act’, the Information Point on Telecommunications (PIT) collected information on several million technical infrastructure facilities.

    This data is available to network operators who intend to share or co-invest in passive infrastructure.

  • Extension of the deadline resulting from the obligation referred to in Article 29c(1) of the Act on supporting the development of telecommunications services and networks

    In light of the ongoing coronavirus epidemic and the resulting difficulties related, among other things, to fulfilling the reporting obligations set out in the Act – Telecommunications Law and the Act on supporting the development of telecommunications services and networks, legal solutions have been introduced to waive sanctions in the event of failing to meet the above obligations within the statutory deadline, that is by 31 March this year.

  • PIT Conference in Gdańsk and Katowice

    We invite you to attend the conferences on the Information Point on Telecommunications in Gdańsk and Katowice.

    During the conferences we will showcase the opportunities offered by the pit.uke.gov.pl portal, present how to gain authorised access to the service and explain how to enter data under the obligation towards the President of UKE.

    The first conference will take place on February 24, 2020 in Gdańsk at the Focus Hotel Premium (ul. Nad Stawem 5), and the second event will be held in Katowice at the Park Hotel Diament (ul. Wita Stwosza 37) on March 5, 2020.

  • How to get access to PIT?

    To access PIT, proceed as follows:

    1. Registration/log-in (the manual is available in Polish version only).

    Registering and logging in to UKE systems takes place via PUE (https://pue.uke.gov.pl) or PIT (https://pit.uke.gov.pl) websites.

    We recommend registration at the PUE level, which enables to fill in and submit “Wniosek o dostęp do PIT” (“Application for access to PIT”; the manual is available in Polish version only).

    2. Setting up an account for an entity (the manual is available in Polish version only).

    To correctly submit “Wniosek o dostęp do PIT” (“Application for access to PIT”) and to continue work in the PIT system, you need to set up an account for an entity (organisation, company) and assign a representative.

    We kindly inform you that it is no longer possible to register for the 3 December 2019 conference.

    The Office of Electronic Communications plans to organise a similar event in 2020. We will provide the details in a separate message. Please follow the website pit.uke.gov.pl

     

    During the conferences we will showcase the opportunities offered by the pit.uke.gov.pl portal, how to gain authorised access to the service and how to enter data following from commitments towards the President of UKE.

    The conferences will be held on 21 November and 3 December 2019 in the Conference Centre at ul. Chałubińskiego 8 in Warsaw.
